Ans, co-owner of Nano Records, has been very active in electronic music since the late eighties. Having started DJing in 1989 he's played music across several different styles on all corners of the Globe. From doing nights in Bristol and the South West of the UK in the early nineties, to a major weekly 1000 capacity night in London for 2 years from 1993 and recording music with the likes of Andy Cato (of Groove Armada fame) and breakbeat star PMT on his imprints Skinny Malinky and Protea Records Ans has a wealth of experience that has been directed at Psychedelic Trance since falling in love with it when living in South Africa in 1998.

Ans records music as The Electric Ant and is attempting to fit the recording of his debut album for Nano into his busy schedule, one that is taken up mostly by the fact that he's one of the guys behind the amazing Glade Festival in the UK.

Ans is a fantastic DJ with a deep, psychedelic approach to mixing with an eye to using the latest technology to fine tune the effect of the music... We can't wait for his Live Sets to happen too!
